Clothing Imports from China to Russia with Full Customs Clearance

In this project, SWIFORT arranged an official clothing shipment from China to Russia with full customs clearance and marking under Russia’s Chestny Znak product marking system. The client’s main objective was to receive a finished batch that would not need to be marked again, sorted or repacked after delivery.

What we did

We trained the factory in Russian market requirements in advance and prepared it to work with Data Matrix marking.

We established a single workflow at the factory:

1. Quality control inspection.
2. Application of product marking.
3. Code scanning.
4. Packing.
5. Batch inspection.
6. Dispatch.

Before packing, factory staff check:

• The model and item number.
• The size and color.
• Whether the code matches the product.
• The print quality and readability of the Data Matrix code.
• The number of garments.
• The accuracy of the marking and packaging.

Our team supervises every stage. This established process minimizes the risk of incorrect marking.

More than 30,000 garments in a few days

After training, the factory can mark and pack more than 30,000 garments in a few days. Products are marked and packed only once, directly at the production facility in China.

The client does not need to:

• Move the batch to an additional warehouse.
• Reopen the boxes.
• Sort garments by size and color.
• Apply marking in a separate operation.
• Repack the goods.

This shortens lead times and reduces warehouse handling costs.

Full customs clearance

Once the batch was prepared, we arranged fully declared shipping from China with the necessary documents and customs procedures. In this project, the scope included:

• Inspection of the finished products.
• Chestny Znak product marking.
• Packaging checks.
• Preparation of the invoice and packing list.
• Verification of product data.
• Customs clearance.
• Official delivery of the batch to Russia.

Results

In this project, the client received clothing that:

• Had passed quality control at the factory.
• Was correctly marked.
• Was packed for transport and sale.
• Had been officially imported into Russia.
• Was ready for onward sale.
