Packaging Sample Production in China
Check the size, structure and finish of your packaging before committing to a production run.
Packaging needs to work with your actual product. Is the size right? Does the box open easily? Does the item stay in place? How does the artwork look on a finished package? A physical sample helps you answer these questions.
SWIFORT arranges packaging sample production in China before you order a batch. Assess the agreed design and identify any changes needed before the full production run.
What to check on your sample
- Size and product fit. Check the space for your product, inserts, accessories and other contents.
- Structure. Assess how easily the packaging assembles, opens and closes.
- Material. Review the appearance, texture and rigidity against your requirements.
- Artwork. Check text readability, logo placement and how the design works on a three-dimensional package.
Specify the material, construction and printing you want included in the sample. This makes the sample useful for evaluating the version you intend to order.
What to send us
Send photographs of the product, its dimensions and weight, a packaging reference and your planned order quantity. Include any drawings, dielines, print-ready artwork or logo files you already have. If you are still developing the brief, tell us what the packaging will hold and what it needs to do.
After reviewing the sample, you can refine the dimensions, material, structure and artwork for the batch. An agreed physical sample gives you a practical reference for discussing the production run.

What is the factory sample fee?
The payment to the factory for making the sample is US$55. Ask us to confirm the full scope and any other project costs before payment.
How long does sample production take?
The sample production time is 2–4 calendar days. Delivery arrangements and the start date should be confirmed for your order.
What do I need for an initial discussion?
Product details, packaging requirements and any available photographs, drawings or artwork.
